Seeking to encapsulate the duality of nature, I cut cross-sections of diseased fallen tree limbs and organized them into a microscropic sample of the very disease that plagued them.

Superfund Memories

Superfunds, or sites designated by the EPA as contamination sites of priority, are somewhat new phenomenons that the American public must deal with. We feel removed from these sites, or in many cases, don't know about them at all. I created this book of curiosity to see what would happen if we analyzed how these sites fit into our own personal histories.
